I first met Nelly, the founder of Dream of a Child, when she was serving as the women’s leader at Citam Woodley church. Having lost my mom, my siblings, and I were orphaned since we had lost our dad earlier. Being the first born, it was indeed a time of crisis. Dream of a Child sponsored my education until I cleared fourth form at Queen of Apostles High School.
Thereafter, they provided me with accommodation, upkeep, and also enrolled me for an accounting course at Nibs College for a year. By the grace of God, they helped me secure a job at Pemafresh, where I am currently working as a cashier. Now, I am able to pay my bills, be independent, and I am helping my younger siblings. To God be the glory.
