Terms & Conditions for Donation Payments
Dream of a Child (referred to as us or we) is a non-profit Community Based Organization. We operate the website – https://dreamofachildint.org. These are the Terms and Conditions which govern each use you make of the donation payment services provided through the Website. These Terms and Conditions apply separately to each single donation that you make. Except as provided for in section 6, ‘Regular Donations’, and unless specified by you, they do not form a contract allowing for future or successive transactions to be set up. By confirming on the Website that you wish to make a donation you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions for that Donation.1. The donation services
We will use your donation at our discretion but within our stated charitable objectives. All payments through the Website are to be made by IPay. Once you confirm to us through the Website that you wish to proceed with your donation your transaction will be processed through our payment services provider. By confirming that you wish to proceed with your donation you authorise IPay to request funds from your credit/debit card provider.2. Unauthorised card use
If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card Provider.3. Information from you before we can process a donation you must provide us with
- your name
- address
- email address
- details of the credit or debit card that you wish to use to fund the donation.
4. Donation Refund policy
Dream of a Child supporters are incredibly important to us and help maintain our Vision and our Mission. We wish to cultivate the grace of giving by thinking carefully about all we receive from God, consider our priorities then prayerfully review our giving and the use of any gifts. If you believe that a donation you have made should be refunded, please contact us within 14 days. We truly appreciate your donations and support and recognise that there may be an occasion when you need to speak to one of our team to discuss your donation. These Donation Payment Terms and Conditions will only apply to successive donations made through the Website where you have set up a regular donation. When you set up a regular donation you will be scheduling a series of donations to be made on the day of the month that you choose until further notice. You agree that these Terms and Conditions will apply to each of the donations in that series. By confirming that you wish to proceed with a regular donation you authorise our payment service provider IPay to request funds from your credit or debit card on the day of each month that you set. 1. Your personal data – what is it?

Dream of a Child complies with its obligations under the Data Protection Act by storing and destroying it securely; by not collecting or retaining excessive amounts of data; by protecting personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access and disclosure and by ensuring that appropriate technical measures are in place to protect personal data. We use your personal data for the following purposes:- To process donations
- To fundraise and promote the interests of the charity
- To inform you of news, events, activities and projects
4. What is the legal basis for processing your personal data?
Explicit consent of the data subject so that we can keep you informed about news, events, activities and process your gift donations. There is no disclosure to a third party without consent.5. Sharing your personal data
Your personal data will be treated as strictly confidential. We will only share your data with third parties with your consent.6. Your rights and your personal data
Unless subject to an exemption under the Data Protection Act, you have the following rights with respect to your personal data: –- The right to request a copy of your personal data which Dream of a Child holds about you;
- The right to request that Dream of a Child corrects any personal data if it is found to be inaccurate or out of date;
- The right to request your personal data is erased where it is no longer necessary for Dream of a Child to retain such data; The right to withdraw your consent to the processing at any time
- The right, where there is a dispute in relation to the accuracy or processing of your personal data, to request a restriction is placed on further processing;
- The right to object to the processing of personal data, (where applicable) [Only applies where processing is based on legitimate interests (or the performance of a task in the public interest/exercise of official authority); direct marketing and processing for the purposes of scientific/historical research and statistics]
- The right to lodge an official complaint.
7. Further processing
If we wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, not covered by this Data Protection Notice, then we will provide you with a new notice explaining this new use prior to commencing the processing and setting out the relevant purposes and processing conditions.
